Official Draw and Seeding Procedure – Olympic Games Paris 2024
21/06/2024A seeding system will be implemented at the Boxing tournament of the Olympic Games Paris 2024, in order to separate top-qualified boxers in each weight category. Seeding positions will be allocated based on on-field results and a random draw, rather than a cumulative ranking system. The seeding system will rely on the results of the Paris 2024 Boxing Unit’s sanctioned continental qualifiers, with eight boxers being seeded in each of the 13 Olympic weight categories.
